WRS summer camp were delighted to of been invited to visit James and Jane Evans Racing Yard during summer camp this year. All the children were very excitied as they got out of bed extra early to be able to catch the race horses on their early morning gallop training session.

James and Jane very kindly showed them around the yard and introduced them to all the residents, including Team WRS Wivny who is in training with them. The children got to see the new foal and to offer some names in the guess the name of the foal competition.  After a close up view of one of the hurdles, the children then got to have a race against each other - starting off course from the starting gates!! Stoping mid morning for a breakfast of Croissants sat overlooking the training yard, the children finished the visit with a tour around the feed room.

We would like to say a huge thankyou to James and Jane and to their staff who made WRS Camp 2009 very welcome.
