Team WRS have finished off 2009 in style, by qulifying for the NFU/TOPSPEC NPS national Dressage championships. This was TEAM WRS's first attempt at dressage with the ponies that were taken, and all three came away with their quifying tickets. No mean feat, as our new Section A Triad Gold Label was amongst those who qualified, and for those following the team, will know, Goldie has only been broken in for a matter of weeks!!

As already mentioned, Goldie picked up his Prelim ticket by coming second to team mate Wian Ultra. Wian Ultra also won the prelim section, jimminy cricket to his freinds!, also took the red one and qualifying in the Novice section too. This is esecially exciting as jimminy is the current NPS Performance champion winning that during last season, so to add the dressage qualifyer to his acheivments is something we are all very proud off.

Also competing for the team with Katie was Hywi Torpedo, no longer owned by TEAM WRS, Katie was competing him for new owners, Rachel, Ian and Iona from the Berkeley area in Gloucestershire. Hwyi has been sold for Iona to compete next year, however, Hwyi will be staying with TEAM WRS for the winter for Kate to continue to compete and produce ready for Iona in the Spring. Hwyi did us all proud, by winning both the Prelim & Novice and picking up the championship tickets for both sections.
