The tiny shetland ponies that Worcester Riding School use in the Equine Therapy unit, were recently invited to go along to the Three Counties 'Countrytastic' childrens show. Fastly becoming the annual childrens show to go to, Countrytastic is aimed at children of all ages and had lots going on throughout the day to keep the children entertained.

We took along 7 little fluffy ponies, and they were a hit from the minute we arrive to when we had to pack away and take them home for a well earned rest. Unlike many of the animals on show at Countrytastic, we actively encouraged the children to pat and brush the ponies and to get very up close and personal with the little chaps. It was also a day out for the Team WRS racing girls,as they all kindly gave up a day of their school holidays to take and help with the ponies. The little ponies also got the chance to meet 'farmer Adam' from off the television who farms locally.
